  I bought a table and chair set from English Garden Furniture 8 years ago. It is sitting outdoors in at my home in Monterey three blocks from the beach. It looks as good as the day I bought it. I do keep care of it--wipe it down and wax it once a year. I have a little touch up kit in case of nicks but haven't had to use it. My mother bought a chaise from the over 15 year ago which I inherited. It also sits outside and is in perfect shape although I do cover it in the winter because of the moving parts on it. I am not sure what people's expectations are when they buy outdoor furniture. Everything I have ever purchased has either fallen apart or looked awful within three or four years. This is the first furniture I have even had for longer and it looks like I will be using it for years to come. What a bargain...even if I had not purchased it at such a discounted rate.
